Warzone Low Fps and Stutter Issues Continue After Fix Update

July 19, 2023

Warzone players are still reporting major FPS drops and stutter, following Activision’s new July 15 PC fix patch.

It’s now day 4 of Warzone being broken for PC players and, though Activision is aware of the issues plaguing the community, it seems no closer to fixing the problem.

The Season 4 Reloaded patch brought with it a new collab with Amazon Prime’s The Boys, a new full-auto shotgun, Vondel Action Royale mode, and more.

But a lot of fans are struggling to enjoy the new content, thanks to low FPS and stuttering being all too common post-update.

Did the July 15 Update Fix Warzone FPS & Stutter?

No, it seems that the new patch for Warzone that dropped on July 15 did little to alleviate the low FPS and major stutter issues that players are met.

YouTuber Westie reports that he’s no longer getting a stutter in-game, but that his performance has taken a hit with every new season.

It certainly appears that the update has had mixed results.

Some players like Westie report that their stutter problem is gone, but their frame rate is still lower than usual. Others report that the game is stuttering even worse after the new Season 4 Reloaded patch.

Very few players seem to believe that the issues are gone for good following the fix, which isn’t a great sign.

Allegedly, those using Intel CPUs are having more luck than AMD fans right now. But not every player appears to be having the same experience.

And despite the new update being for PC, it seems that many players are experiencing similar issues on PlayStation and Xbox consoles too. Clearly, something in the Season 4 Reloaded update is causing the problems, and hopefully it won’t take long to find out what it is.

Of course, we anticipate further updates dropping very soon for all players. According to CODUpdates, Activision’s official Twitter account for the recent Call of Duty patch details, the company is ‘continuing to monitor game performance.’

We imagine it won’t have to look far to see that players are still extremely unhappy with how their game is running.
